Really disappointed to hear that Sol Campbell has signed with Newcastle for one year,
I know there is no such thing as loyalty in football, but Campbell’s career was over last year after his stint at Notts County. Arsene Wenger and Arsenal rescued Campbell’s career by signing him in January. Campbell performed above everyone’s expectation last season, but for him to walk out on Arsenal and go to Newcastle I find disappointing.

He gave a lot to Arsenal over his career and it was just an added bonus that he came back to give us a half season last year. He worked hard to get back in the team, but could have been on the bench all year with us. You can’t blame the lad for wanting to play for one more season.
I rooted for him to do well at Portsmouth and I will hope he dominates at Newcastle, except when playing the Gunners.
Maybe he sees the lack of ambition from Wenger,we are worse off now than we were 2 months ago squad wise ,its an amazing situation at the club… we seem to be going backwards,who can really blame fabregas for wanting out. Its beyond belief that we haven’t signed a keeper yet and it doesn’t look like we will,its madness.
