More Injuries

by David on February 18, 2010

Arsenal’s injury worries continue with the news that Abou Diaby will miss this weekends game against Sunderland because of a medial knee ligament injury.

“We lost Abou Diaby last night [at Porto],” Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon. “It is not understandable. I don’t know how it worked. But he has a medial knee ligament injury. We discovered it today. He came in today and he had pain in his knee.”

Some good news is that Alex Song could be available for this weekends game. Wenger puts his chances at 80%, while Almunia is only 50-50 so I expect to see Fabianski keep his place.

Arshavin, Gallas and Eduardo are all still out through injury, bit hopefully we will get them back soon.

I just cant immagine how rediculous Wenger is.Tho it is not good manners to publically criticize you players,it really defeats logic and it is an insult to the travelling fans for him to have kind words for Fabianski.Hearing of Almnia spines my nerves too. They are all the same. There employees at aresnal who must be very lucky to have retained their jobs in this credit crunch. How do you continue paying mediocre players like Almnia, Fabianski, silvester name it.There is need to be professional and do away with this stupid nepotism of employing French players because you are a french coach. We have many of these guys at the club who just pretending to be good yet they are not. What impact has nasri had on thegame this season really. Diaby is good but so injury prone that we have not seen much of him. Clichy is of recent becomming a fool of himself.Am disgusted with wenger .How can we be behind the team when u are the decision maker and employer of incompetet players by guess work that they will be good in future. How do u convince me the Fabianski may be a future buffon.Absolute nosense.Stop fooling the fans. The best thing to do is stop watching the games so that the club slumps in revenues.
