Arsenal has to pick up three points at home this weekend against Sunderland if they are to have any hope of winning the title this season.
With the real prospect of Manchester United dropping points at Everton, this is a weekend that Arsenal can close the gap on the top two.
After the fiasco in Portugal in midweek, Arsenal get a chance to rebound against a Sunderland team that has not won in its last twelve Premier League games. Their last win in the league was almost exactly three months ago.
Arsenal Injuries
As announced earlier this week, midfielder Abou Diaby is out for this game after sustaining suspected knee ligament damage against Porto in midweek.
Almunia has only a 50-50 chance of playing so I expect Wenger to stick with Fabianski, and give the youngster a chance to regain his confidence.
Song should be fit to play while Arshavin, Eduardo and Gallas have all been ruled out of the Sunderland match. Sol Campbell will have a liatr fitness test to see if he has recovered enough from the Porto game to play.
Prediction
I cannot see anything less than a convincing Arsenal win here. Arsenal 3-1.
What do you predict will be the score?

3-0
Yes, I`m sure we have enough in the tank to see off Sunderland and 3-1 seems a fair guess at the result. I did make a comment somewhere that we might field the Carling Cup side then I realized they`re probably all out on loan, silly me.
I go for an Arsenal 3-1 win bcoz the defence is a bit vulnerable… Sol still has to get fullt fit.. But i dont see anything less than a win here..
