Eduardo off to Shakhtar Donesk

by David on July 19, 2010

It looks like Eduardo’s career at Arsenal is over as he is set to make a £6m move to Shakhtar Donesk

Eduardo had a medical at Arsenal’s training ground on Monday conducted by Shakhtar staff to make sure that he has fully recovered from his shocking ankle injury he suffered in February 2008.

Eduardo was never the same after his injury, but I wish him the best at Shakhtar and I hope that he can regain the form he had before he got hurt.

David, where did you hear he had a medical?
All I’d heard before had been rumour…

All the best ED, sad to see you go. You would have had a great arsenal career if it was not for that taylor thug. Hope you get your form back and maybe one day come back

Firstly, I am so sad for Eduardo, secondly I am angry that such a young talented players career has been ended by a such a vicious foul and, to my knowledge ,no action has been taken against the perpetrator. There is lesson to be learned and rules to be changed. Good luck mate.

I´m so sorry for Eduardo. The brutal foul was his end for Arsenal. I hope he will fully recover and start new! You are always a Gooner!!!

such a shame his career at top flight football has come to an end so prematurely.
Good luck to the ‘fox in the box’
I’m more upset to see him leave than i would be to see fabregas leave.
Well Martin Taylor, you ruined his career and you should be punished.

Hold on a minute, Eduardo is making a £6m move to the best team in Russia, whilst continuing to play international football and bring home a salary of £2.5m per year, crikey i hope my career ends as badly as that!! I will be looking forward to a state pension of about £80pw when my career is over.
