Celebrate The Good

Arsenal beat 3-1 in a game that could just as easily have been 7-1  or 2-2. The Gunners missed chance after chance especially Nicklas Bendtner who missed at least four sitters in the game.

But here we are in early March and Arsenal are sitting two points out of first place. If you has said that would be the case at the start of the year most Gunners fans would not have believed you.

Yes we could talk about all the missed opportunities today and the injury to Fabregas. But those are stories for tomorrow and Monday. Tonight is about Arsenal being very much involved in this title race and with three of the next four league games against Hull, West Ham and Wolves, Arsenal should continue to put pressure on Chelsea and Man United.

Definitely felt the heartache of all those missed opportunities, but that was dampened by the fact that Walcott played an excellent game. Not only was it great that he found the back of the net, but he had some well placed crosses. And as always his speed was too much for the opposition.

good and important win, but i cannot help but consider how the goals for in arsenal’s column need to be alot higher to make up for the poor goals against (all of course, relative to chelski and manure)

Arsenal performance was absolutly excellent, although Bendtner performance was embarrassing, the likes of Walcott, Nasri, Rosisky, Vermalean, Ebuoe Diaby,Danilson, Fabrigas, Arshavin, Alumnia, overshadowed it. Man of the match is THEO WALCOTT. Good news for Arsenal, Fabrigas will be available for selection on Tuesday.

Good win gunners , great for wenger to put strongest team available eventhough 60 hours later porto awaits us . the only bad news is manure won too (ahha)..
The missed chances by the tall dane could have effected on goal difference come end of this season . being more goals score ( should have been 5 or 6) last night is like us getting not three points but 4 !
Happy with Walcott performance ….

Re performance, I had predicted that in 3 games time, theo would be terrorising defences all over. europe. He beat me by 2 games. I guess I am a big fan of theos, mainly because he is a really nice kid and it can’t be easy with all the pressure on his shoulders.
I will repeat that in training he shows exceptional ability, but can’t quite yet translate that on the football field.

Porto watch out, we have song back, theo , bendtner and arshavin hopefully will be available. Diaby will hopefully be back too.

Not sure about fabregas being available, but with nasri and rosicky there, our squad is capable of hammering porto.

Many of you may disagree, but I think almunia is a fine keeper.

Cmon arsenal, I am behind you 100% ! Win or lose, forever a gooner.
Our squad is one of the best in the world! Well done wenger!

Good to stay positive mate. The goal difference will give someone the title and we lost ground Saturday with increasing this important statistic.
