The Daily Mirror is reporting that Samir Nasri could be handed a three-game suspension for his stamp on Hull’s Richard Garica.
It appears that referee Steve Bennett did not see the incident, which means the FA will go to the dreaded “video evidence”. If Nasri is charged with violent conduct, he could be rubbed out for the Gunners’ holiday fixtures against Aston Villa, Portsmouth and West Ham United.
That is not what Wenger wants for Christmas. Especially when Arsenal are already missing Robin van Persie, Tomas Rosicky, Gael Clichy and Cesc Fabregas through injury.

If Nasri has to be disciplined for his step on Garcia’s foot then I would like to know what hypothetical foul he was booked for? Barnby on the other hand should be battered with the Law book for a clearly premeditated attack and assault on Nasri. There was the runt Hunt who all game was boisterous and unnessarily physical but ignored by his northern mate Bennet, no matter how provocative his fouls were. Bennet appeared to have a conflab with his assistants and came up with bookings for Nasri and Hunt. It would be a real lesson for the nation to hear what was said as this is all recorded for the FA or should be if fairplay is paramount.
Interesting point in that if they review the complete incident will Barnby be disciplined also for his role in the fracas?
Garcia should be banned for blatant yet impressive play acting.
all our boys need to do is keep their head high nd nasri’s ban would a big blow against villa!
Totally agree. He would be a big loss
