Arsenal’s Official Statement Re Aaron Ramsey

by David on February 28, 2010

On Sunday, Arsenal Football Club released the following statement:

“During yesterday’s match against Stoke City, Aaron Ramsey sustained fractures to the tibia and fibula in his right leg. Yesterday evening he underwent surgery. The operation successfully reduced the fractures and whilst it is too soon to state an exact timescale for recovery, Aaron will certainly miss the remainder of this season. Our thoughts are with Aaron at this time and everyone at the Club wishes him all the best in making as speedy a return to action as possible.”

It’s annoying seeing clubs like stoke, hull, sunderland etc. training their players to be rough.for God sake it is soccer and not rugby.i wish Ramsey a quick recovery.gunners, let’s keep the faith.

Shawcross is the problem. Pulis / Allardyce / McCarthy are the problem too…
He’s the products of middle England, Skinhead, Thug, hard-man footballer, playing ‘in your face’ football, encouraged by managers as their way to combat Arsenal… Remember his tackle 2 years ago against Abebayor ? Off the pitch ??? Oh yes… he’s done this before… !!!
So, when you use excessive force for a mere clearance, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS !
Good luck Rambo, see you in 8 months… as good as new…

Why do teams in the premier league get so physical when it comes to arsenal.FA has to do something about this:a 3match ban is not enough for injuries like this.We have seen 3 of such within the past 5years;diaby,da silva and now 19 yr old ramsey! Are they discouraging talent and skill?
FA should do something:I AM EXPECTING IT.

SO SORRY THAT SUCH A YOUNG TALENT HAS SUSTAINED SUCH A HORRIBLE INJURY. I HOPE THAT WITH THE BEST MEDICAL ATTENTION THAT THE PLAYERS AT ARSENAL GET WHEN THEY ARE INJURED IT WONT BE TOO LONG BEFORE HE WILL BE ABLE TO GET BACK TO TRAINING AND THEN WE WILL SEE HIM ON THE PITCH AGAIN SHOWING US WHAT A GREAT PLAYER HE IS. I AM SURE EDUARDO WILL BE AN INSPIRATION TO HIM AND THE TEAM AS A WHOLE WILL ENCOURAGE HIM ALL THE WAY. I HOPE THEY ALL PULL TOGETHER AND WIN THE LEAGUE FOR HIM. GOOD LUCK TO AARON AND ALL THE TEAM.K
