One down and about six to go as Manuel Almunia has confirmed he will leave Arsenal at the end of the season when his contract runs out.
Almunia told Sky Sports that he will quit the Gunners at the end of the season but that he wants to stay and play for another London team.
“I’m looking for a nice move next season,” the 34-year-old told Sky Sports News. “I want to start a new episode of my life. And now I’m free, I can do what I like..I’ve got lazy to move too far. Life here is fantastic.”
Now if he can take his buddies like Arshavin, Denilson and Bendtner with him, Arsenal will free up enough cash to give RVP the money he deserves.

Thank christ, i hope he leaves the door open for Chamakh, Squillaci, Park, Arshavin, Denilson, Bendtner, Vela and anyone else that doesnt contribute or doesnt want to play for Arsenal.
Vela, arsh and bendtner are rather successfull on loan. I think there will be buyers for those. Even for chamakh if anyone meets his wage demands.
Finally we could get rid of some dead wood!!!
Almunia i wish you good luck my dear and even if you go please remain as arsenal fan.
Go to westham

The only respectful comment so far. Almunia and all the other players mentioned have tried their best for our Club and each, at times, have been MOTM. Don’t forget that. If they leave us during the summer, let’s wish them well without the abuse.
At the end of the day, remember they are men with families plying their trade….nothing more.
it has nothing to do with respect. we quite frankly need to get rid of players because there are a ton of youngsters that will be counted under the 25-man rule next season.
wallcot and clichy are very quick, they need more coisnstent in every week.for eboue he should improve his performance, very often making mistakes. If eboue can’t improve then I agree if they put in transfer list and buy better player
