It seems that Arsenal have told Barcelona enough times that Cesc Febregas is not for sale that they are finally getting it.
Barcelona president Sandro Rosell told Catalan TV3 that there are currently no talks between the two sides over Fabregas:
“Arsenal feels very hurt by Barca. They don’t want to listen to offers or sell and they are not putting the player (Fabregas) on the market. There was a strong dispute a few months ago and they have not forgotten it.”
So you would think that is the end of the story. But we are talking Barcelona here, the champions of tapping up players. So Rosell went on to say:
“He (Fabregas) will arrive, even if it is not now, it will be next year. We will see. One thing that is certain is that we will not go mad trying to sign him. No shareholder would pay 60 or 70million euros for him. We will not go all out for him. We would only pay his value in the transfer market.”
Twelve more months of we love you Cesc coming from the Barca camp. Not sure I can take that

Totally agree, 12 more months with all this crap and nothing firm from Cesc himself, what is that for a captain. Keep Cesc for the duration of his contract…get a new captain with some proper heart, and make an official statement to the effect that Arsenal will not be doing any business with Barcelona in the future.
Another 12 months to add to the 24 months that we’ve already had!!!
Unless something is being lost in translation they are either very stupid and/or very arrogant. What they don’t seem to get is that unlike most clubs AFC don’t need the money; they have no control over Cesc’s future & their valuation counts for absolutely nothing in the matter. Next summer he’s certainly not likely to be worth any less, so if they can’t afford him now, they won’t be able to then.
If they’d got any sense, after this summers ridiculous pantomime during which he was only ever for sale in their eyes, they’d show a little more respect & keep quiet so that Wenger doesn’t sell them to “you know who” at Real Madrid. I bet they’d stump up 60 million Euros next summer just to piss Barca off!!!!!!!!
What was the dispute a few months ago?
Cesc has kinda tied our hands by stating that if he ever leaves us, it will only be for Barca. Barca know this too. For the time being, the ball is in our court while he’s still under contract, but he could be crowned World Footballer of the Year and Barca still won’t stump up silly money as they know they’ll get him eventually. While we can refuse to let Barca have him (for now), we can’t make him go to Madrid and of all the clubs in the world, that’s the last place he’d want to go anyway.

Whom do they think they are, they want to buy a lamboghini at the price of toyota. Wait at end of next season and Fab wil have earned an Epl and Cl then see how much he will be worth. Hope Mourinho will put a bid in the region of 100£ mil then see Barca fret with rage how i wil love this
